Energy Efficiency and Environmental Footprint: a low-emission hotel
Stay somewhere where hospitality meets responsibility
For years, T Hotel has been continuously investing in solutions designed to reduce its environmental impact. This commitment also extends to the measurement and certification of our CO₂ emissions through the Carbon Footprint Organisation (CFO), first obtained based on emissions recorded in 2023 and confirmed again for 2025. This reflects our ongoing journey towards increasingly sustainable hospitality and continuous improvement.
We have also achieved an important milestone: zero indirect market-based emissions from imported energy (Category 2 – UNI ISO 14064-1), thanks to the installation of a new system using low-impact refrigerant gases and the definitive decommissioning of our diesel boilers.
Since 2024, we have also used exclusively certified electricity from renewable sources, supported by the expansion of our photovoltaic system.
We care deeply about the future of our planet. Our entire team follows strict waste management and recycling procedures, with dedicated bins available throughout the hotel and in every guest room. A small everyday action that helps make a positive difference to the environment.
If you would like to enjoy a more sustainable stay, our team will be delighted to recommend authentic experiences for discovering Cagliari and southern Sardinia: nature parks, protected areas, beaches and natural oases where you can admire majestic pink flamingos, while respecting and helping preserve an extraordinary landscape that deserves to be protected.

Being among the award finalists represents an important recognition of the journey we have undertaken in recent years to reduce our environmental impact through concrete investments, technological innovation and responsible resource management. This achievement encourages us to continue with determination towards a model of hospitality that is increasingly attentive to both the environment and people.

Blue Green Economy Award 2026, published list of finalists and Special Awards
