EXCELLENCE
Visible from every corner of Cagliari, the T Hotel tower rises as a striking city landmark.
The vision of entrepreneur Gualtiero Cualbu became reality in just three years, culminating in a remarkable architectural structure that soars 15 floors and reaches a height of 62 metres.
The project began in 2000, when the company took over an existing building originally intended for a different purpose. With the collaboration of the Planarch studio from Rome, architect Martuscelli, and consulting architect Piva, the T Hotel—described by Mr. Cualbu as “a gift to the city”—officially opened in 2005.
T Hotel is located directly opposite Piazza della Musica (Music Square), a green quarter dotted with fountains and gardens, and facing the Municipal Theatre. The area also features an open-air amphitheatre, a space for contemporary art exhibitions, and a scenography workshop for the theatre.
Today, T Hotel is widely recognised as one of the finest hotels in Italy—an emblem of excellence and a source of pride for the city of Cagliari.
