San Michele Castle
Located in the northern part of the city, the hill offers breathtaking views over the surrounding landscape. The castle of the same name can be reached via a path surrounded by trees, grass, and plants typical of Mediterranean shrubland.
Monte Urpinu Park
Located in the southern part of the city, within one of the most charming green areas in the city centre, the park rises 98 metres above sea level. It hosts numerous species of plants and shrubs, and its panoramic viewpoint offers spectacular views over the city.
Music Plaza
Located opposite the T Hotel, Music Plaza is the pride of the San Benedetto district. It features several plazas and green spaces, an artificial water feature, and a musical fountain. It also hosts a variety of musical and cultural events throughout the year.
Public Gardens
These are the oldest gardens in the city: a peaceful, relaxing oasis and the perfect place to read, study, or simply unwind in the Villanova district. A long tree-lined avenue leads to the Municipal Art Gallery.
Monte Claro Park
One of Cagliari’s main public parks, centrally located and covering several hectares. It includes recreational facilities, a pond, and a variety of bird species such as geese and ducks, as well as numerous turtles.
Terramaini Park
Located on the edge of the canal of the same name, Terramaini Park is the result of extensive landscape redevelopment. It offers wide lawns, flowerbeds, a pond, and walking trails among tropical trees.
Molentargius Regional Park
A fascinating nature reserve where many plant and animal species can be observed, including the iconic pink flamingos. The area can be explored on foot or by bicycle, with rentals available on-site or via bike-sharing stations throughout the city.
Botanical Garden
This garden is located on an archaeological site between the Roman Amphitheatre, the Capuchin Garden, and the so-called Villa of Tigellio. It features a wide range of plant and shrub species arranged into thematic areas.
